A safe and secure environment is a prerequisite for effective teaching and learning.

We, at endeavour Academy have ensured to implement a well-defined, fool proof security system.

CHILD SAFETY and SECURITY

• Teachers regularly have a general talk with students regarding safety measures.
• Students right from the nursery classes are spoken to about ‘The Good touch and Bad touch’.
• Surprise bag checks are executed regularly at all the levels.
• Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) committee organises assembly talks as an ongoing process.
• Suggestion/complaint boxes have been installed on all floors.
• Police verification and medical check-up has been made mandatory for all the employees in the campus.
• Evacuation plan has been displayed on all floors. Mock evacuation drill is executed term-wise.
• The infirmary is well equipped to handle first aid. A qualified nurse is present in the infirmary during the working hours.

ENTRY and EXIT

• Vigilant security guards at the main gate.
• There is only one entry and exit to and from the school building, which is through the reception area.
• Entry of parents and visitors in school premises are registered.
• Parents/visitors are issued visitors ID card at the time of entry.

SCHOOL CAMPUS

• All windows in the classrooms are grilled.
• A total of 96 CCTV cameras are installed at entry & exit points, classrooms, corridors, playground, reception, bus parking area and outside all the washrooms.
• All CCTV systems are monitored by an assigned personnel.
• Conductors & Drivers are not allowed inside the school building premises.

WASHROOMS

• There are separate toilets for boys & girls.
• There are separate toilets for visitors, teachers & staff.
• One lady attendant is stationed outside every toilet.
• The floor supervisor regularly checks the toilets on all the floors.
• PreKG and KG sections have a designated lady attender to escort students to the washroom.
• The Safety & Security Committee carries out surprise visits to the washrooms.
